The International Composers' Competition of the European Capital of Culture Wrocław 2016
The Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław would like to invite composers to the International Composers' Competition of the European Capital of Culture Wrocław 2016. The subject of the Competition is an orchestral composition inspired by Wroclaw’s culture, history or landscape.
FURTHER INFORMATION:
- The Competition is open to composers of all ages and nationalities;
- The subject of the Competition is an orchestral composition inspired by Wroclaw’s culture, history or landscape; Duration of the composition: 15-20 minutes;
- Deadline for submissions: 21 November 2016;
- Submitted scores will be evaluated by an international jury consisting of: CHEN Yi (China, USA), Ivan FEDELE (Italy), Zygmunt KRAUZE (Poland, Jury Chairman), François-Bernard MÂCHE (France), Grażyna PSTROKOŃSKA-NAWRATIL (Poland)
- Adjudication: 10 December 2016;
- FIRST PRIZE: PLN 100 000, The prizes total PLN 200 000;
- Competition fee: PLN 150;
