Ecce Call for Scores

Ecce will select a new work to be performed in New York City at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music on May 3rd and then again on May 6th as part of its contemporary music residency at Le Laboratoire, Cambridge.

Instrumentation: Violin, Viola, Cello, Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Piano, Percussion.

Each year, Ecce curates a concert around two compositions written by emerging voices in our culture found through an international call for scores. Obtaining an expert performance and recording and having the visibility of a high profile performance in New York have proven to be instrumental in assisting the talented emerging voices we fearlessly advocate. Concerts are curated along with our selection process, which includes a rotating jury, so programs are announced later in the season.

Our end-of-season Call for Scores is a celebration of our ensemble as well, before we decamp for Europe and the Etchings Festival. So our instrumentation is open. We are all present and hoping to perform your work!
