2nd International Alkema Composition Contest, Saxkvartett

Composers of all ages and nationalities are welcome to submit new compositions for saxophone quartet and piano. Important is that the composition contains a cross-over of styles, preferably a combination of contemporary classical music with popular music, e.g. jazz, pop, rock or folk. The jury consists out of Jeroen D'hoe (B), David Dramm (USA/NL), Perry Goldstein (USA), Johan van der Linden (NL) en Henry Kelder (NL). The jury will select 6 compositions out of all participating works for the Final Concert, to be performed by the world famous Aurelia Saxophone Quartet en pianist Henry Kelder.

The Final Concert of the 2nd IACC takes place on October 26 2014 in Vredenburg, Utrecht, The Netherlands.
