I built"zoetic engines" on three Synthi 100's in Belgrade, Ghent and Athens, and had them interact/play with each other.
What I call a Zoetic Engine consists of one or more autonomous patches involving modules of the synthesizer, each being unstable and having it's own "quasi-organic" behaviour, which I often describe as "creatures", albeit extremely primitive, but with a life and behaviours of their own (hence the term zoetic). They do have the  capability to receive and react to sounds/signals from outside, which may be generated by other creatures within the same engine. or coming from an outside source, which can also be actual sounds, produced by humans or any other sound source.
For this piece I built zoetic engines on Synthi 100's in three different countries. and enabled them to interact via SonoBus. 
There was no human interaction involved.
