Om Johan Stertman

Johan Stertman (b. 1993) is a Swedish composer. His music ranges from large orchestral scores and chamber music to music for stage art. 

Stertman studied with some of the most notable composers and pedagogues in Sweden - Djuro Zivcovic, Rolf Martinsson, Martin Gjerstad, Håkan Andersson, Monika Kowalska and Tamara Jeltova. 

Finishing his studies at the Malmö Academy of Music. He has been rewarded several artistic grants from Anna Withlocks Minnesfond, the Royal Academy of Music, the Swedish Arts Grants Committee and Malmö Stad.
