ECCO Call for Works 2026

ECSA invites submissions for the 21st European Contemporary Composers Orchestra (ECCO) Concert, which will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, in October 2026, performed by Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen. Submission deadline is 30 April 2026, 12:00 CEST.

The European Composer and Songwriter Alliance (ECSA) invites submissions for its 21st European Contemporary Composers Orchestra (ECCO) Concert, to be performed in Copenhagen by Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen.

ECCO is a flagship initiative of ECSA’s ECF Committee and aims to promote contemporary repertoire, increase the visibility of European composers, foster the development of new audiences, and encourage cross-border artistic collaboration.

This 2026 edition is organised in partnership with Kyiv Contemporary Music Days (KCMD), reinforcing ECCO’s cross-border dimension and supporting the visibility of Ukrainian contemporary music within the European context. Art Music Denmark also joins the project as a valued contributing partner, supporting the realisation and dissemination of this edition.

Submissions are open to composers affiliated with ECSA member organisations within the ECF Committee, as well as Ukrainian composers.
