International Composition Competition 'Città di Udine'

Eligibility: No age limit.
Requirements: Composition competition divided into 2 sections:
compositions for chamber instrumental group or solo instrument (Pieces should not exceed eight minutes in length, however consideration will be given to compositions which exceed this length if, in the opinion of the Jury, they are of particular artistic merit);
electroacoustic, analogical and digital music (no longer than 10 minutes' duration).
Only unpublished compositions can be submitted.
Prizes:
1st prize in compositions for chamber instrumental group or solo instrument category: EUR 1000;
1st prize in electro-acoustic category: EUR 1000;
Special prize Piero Pezze: EUR 500;
Special prize of FIDAPA to the best female composer;
Special mention with medal offered by the Presidente della Repubblica Italiana;
special mention with medal offered by the Senato della Repubblica Italiana;
special mention with medal offered by the Camera dei Deputati della Repubblica Italiana;
Public performance of 6-8 of the best compositions entered (Udine, October 2014).
Production of a CD of the concert in October and inclusion of this in the TEM - Taukay Edizioni Musicali CD catalogue.
