Composition competition organised by Orchestre national d’Île-de-France 2018
 

Write movements on the theme “Olympic Games” for orchestra
Broadcasting on the French public Radio – France Musique (Radio France)
 
This 6th competition is opened to composers of any nationality who will be under 33 years old on January 1st 2018, and are enrolled or have been enrolled in composition and/or orchestration courses between 2013 and 2018 at an institution in the European Union.
 
Entrants shall compose a work for orchestra on the theme “Olympic Games”. This work will be composed specifically for this competition, it will be original and not have been performed previously in full or in part.
This work must have five movements, each two minutes long, for a total of ten minutes.
 
Entrants must submit their completed application on the Ulysses platform: http://ulysses-network.eu
before Monday 11th September 2017.
The public finale round will take place on February 2nd 2018 in the Orchestra’s House (Alfortville, Paris district).
